February 6, 2003:  Today we follow Bay Colony GP-8 No. 1701 on the morning trash train.  We begin at Canal Junction, where we find them crossing the bridge and (after dropping the Yarmouth cars) heading for Otis.  We follow them down the Falmouth line with the Otis cars, and then returning lite engine to Canal Junction.  Once they pick up the Yarmouth cars again, and make a reverse move onto the bridge, we follow them to Yarmouth.  The first car of the Yarmouth string is a flatcar with four empty containers, which are used to transport sludge.
